As assurance that she is the strongest negotiator possible, Julie is a Certified Negotiation Expert. Julie sees formal trainings and certifications as an expression of her commitment to professionalism. For buyers, Julie taps into her experience working with a top Chicago developer, sharing her first-hand knowledge around construction. As a result of her extended efforts, Julie is the preferred broker for many of Chicago's Fortune 500 companies and the c-suite teams at many top consulting firms.
Julie started her real estate career in 2001 when she partnered with one of the country’s top brokers based in La Jolla, California. Hard work and natural talent paid off, and Julie’s first property sold for over $20 million. But for Julie, whether it is a $1MM client or a $100,000 client, the level of client service remains unchanged. Julie maintains her California license and network, drawing expertise and the latest thinking in real estate from across the country.
Even amongst all of her industry accolades, her greatest achievements are her two daughters, Siena and Sloane. Julie is also a proud Navy wife, her husband having served as a helicopter pilot. Helping military families transition from one home to another is a source of great pride. When Julie is not working, she and her husband enjoy traveling, concerts, and the Chicago restaurant scene. Julie is also on the board of Neighborhood Parent Network, a local organization that hosts events, and provides parents with resources like school and childcare information.
Pamela Moran, Senior Broker
Pamela is a sharp, savvy Realtor® who understands the ever changing demands of Chicago’s real estate market. Specializing in all the specifics of buying and selling properties, Pamela takes her role very seriously, as she believes that buying or selling a property is one of the most significant decisions a person makes. Driven by her desire to fulfill her client’s needs, Pamela applies high integrity, in-depth knowledge and a warm personality to every aspect of the real estate experience.
Pamela began her career in marketing and management over 15 years ago and was soon credited with developing brand strategies, marketing initiatives and sales programs for well respected companies involving the architectural and real estate arena. Pamela also spent three years working for one of the top developers in Chicago, enriching her skills with the knowledge and insight regarding construction details. She also credits her branding background as one of her greatest assets when it comes to marketing her client’s homes.
Born in Chicago, Pamela left her home town to attend school but she returned in 1997, where she has lived in Chicago’s Bucktown/Wicker Park community ever since. It wasn’t until she made her first purchase and real estate investment in the emerging and growing community that her true passion for real estate took hold. Bringing her vast knowledge of Chicago, coupled with her customer focused approach to every detail; Pamela’s love of the vibrant neighborhoods of Chicago is evident in every transaction. Susan Panozzo, Senior Broker
Business-minded and motivated from the very start, Susan began her career while still in college, managing a multi-million dollar fashion brand. She quickly learned that what it took to satisfy a fashion client is the same for any client: anticipate needs, act with integrity, and solve problems.
After spending the next several years gaining experience at the highest levels of fashion sales and management, Susan returned to her original passion: real estate. As a first step toward making the transition, Susan accepted a position at a leasing company. It was there that Susan fully realized her love of the industry, and that this would be her lifelong career. The combination of complex problem solving mixed with the deeply personal nature of real estate is what keeps Susan motivated and excited each day.
Her passion quickly translated to success, and one year into her real estate career Susan was hand-picked as the exclusive broker for a large portfolio of luxury investment properties on the north side. There, she managed over 60 properties annually, while still maintaining the highest level of client service. For the past four years she has been named one of the Chicago Association of Realtor’s Top Producers. In addition to working with clients throughout Chicagoland, Susan has developed an active client base of international investors from Australia and Europe. Susan is also licensed in Florida and has helped many of her Chicagoland clients buy second homes.
When she isn’t working, Susan consistently embarks on adventurous journeys. She recently hiked the Inka Trail to Machu Picchu, sailed around Ha Long Bay in Vietnam and skydived in the Florida Keys. She is also an avid animal lover and supporter of the Special Olympics, having achieved record setting fundraising for the Chicago Polar Plunge.
Liza Balistreri, Broker
Liza has an extensive history of working tirelessly and passionately on behalf of her clients. Known for her enthusiasm and attention to detail, she delivers a personal and professional experience to each buyer and seller she works with.
As a prior litigation attorney, Liza knows the value in smart, tactical negotiations, and how balancing top-notch advocacy for her clients with productive professionalism can make sure each transaction moves as smoothly as possible. After being recruited to run the real estate department for the Chicago Board of Education, Liza managed a 60 million square foot portfolio, including the sale of surplus assets for redevelopment. After becoming a property investor herself, Liza realized her appetite for all things residential real estate: the hunt for the right property, the strategizing on negotiations, and the “new chapter” experience that comes with closing the deal. Shortly after becoming a licensed broker, Liza met Julie and found her match in their client-focused, integrity-driven styles.
Liza considers herself an ambassador for Chicago. A go-to for professionals relocating to the city, she is a resource about everything Chicago has to offer and loves matchmaking her clients with the perfect neighborhoods. She is also very involved with Neighborhood Parent Network in Chicago, which, combined with her knowledge of the Chicago school system and her network of developers, means that she can provide her clients with a neighborhood-focused perspective on the city’s real estate market. Outside of real estate, Liza loves doing anything with her family (including practicing her high-level negotiating skills with her daughter), is proud to say she never grew out of the I-love-ponies stage of her life (and continues to be an avid equestrian), and is slightly addicted to exercise (clients who dare have been known to take up her offer of a 6am Soul Cycle class before a coffee meeting!). She maintains her Illinois attorney license and is a member of both the Illinois Bar Association and the Chicago Association of Realtors.
Ali Rozina, Broker Associate
Ali knows that working in real estate is more similar to completing a half Iron Man than one might think: it takes the same commitment, persistence and hard work to succeed. These are the guiding principles that Ali learned on the field, yet practices in her daily life as a real estate broker.
Ali’s real estate experience started in the luxury rental market when she closely collaborated with 150+ of Chicago’s best luxury buildings, working toward finding the perfect match for her clients. As her career progressed, rental clients returned to her for help buying property, so she quickly obtained her real estate license to add this skill to her arsenal. Never satisfied with the status quo, Ali merged her experience in buying and selling into relocation services for out-of-state clients. From luxury rentals to relocations to buying or selling the home down the street, Ali truly has the applicable experience.
Before starting in real estate, Ali worked in advertising at a local agency and later at MTV. After refining her skills there, she moved onto the a well-known local restaurant group where she helped successfully launch multiple restaurants with her advertising, project management and event planning experience. Today all of those cumulative skills foray into refined, modern and creative marketing plans, and comprehensive project management for each transaction.
In her free time, Ali is almost always doing something active. From yoga, to marathons, to long distance races throughout Chicagoland, Ali is game for anything. In 2017 Ali competed in the half Ironman Steelhead in Benton Harbor, Michigan, and at the end of August 2019 she will be competing in her first 10 mile Tough Mudder race. In between, Ali loves volunteering at her church and local animal rescues, as well as traveling and listening to live music.
Maggie Yandel, Broker Associate
Maggie is not only a top performing Sales Associate at the Busby Realty Group; she is also a gifted professional who is there for her clients throughout the entire home buying and selling experience. What makes her so different is that Maggie treats each client with an approach that says, “I will make every aspect of this transaction stress free and simple so that you can enjoy it all.”
Maggie’s journey into real estate began right after graduating from Indiana University’s School of Business and Communication when she realized how much she appreciated the works of famous architects such as Philip Johnson and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. As a native Chicagoan, Maggie clearly remembers visiting the skyscrapers of Chicago as a little girl, which to this day she still enjoys. It was actually her passion for architecture and the incredible beauty of the Chicago landscape that served as her lead-in to a real estate career. To date, no matter how much time she spends in her daily work activities, Maggie continues to thrive on exploring the city and finding all of its treasures. Her extensive knowledge of Chicago’s surroundings is one of the reasons her clients love working with her.
Over and above her familiarity and awareness of Chicago, Maggie is also technologically savvy, proven by her running successful marketing campaigns on social media for the Busby Realty Group. Earlier in her career she was also credited with running an exceptionally successful campaign for a prominent Chicagoland restaurant. To provide further insight into Maggie’s persona, when time allows, she loves being outdoors, traveling and volunteering her time. Jane Lintelmann, Director of Operations
Jane has a special knack for gaining the trust of clients based on her strong sense of integrity, profound communication skills and astute negotiation abilities. Due to her extensive hospitality experience and her gift for understanding her client’s needs, Jane readily establishes warm rapport, inspires confidence and consistently generates positive results.
Jane began her career nearly a decade ago after graduating from college. Her drive and ambition was already apparent when she completed school in only three years with a Bachelor’s degree in Food and Beverage from Kendall College at the Les Roches School of Hospitality Management program, a top-ranking hospitality and tourism management school. Soon after, Jane rapidly progressed from working in management at upscale restaurants, to being the Concierge at the Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago. Prior to joining the Busby Realty Group, she also served as Client Relations Manager at one of the uppermost real estate firms in the nation. While there, Jane applied her ambition, skill and dedication towards helping her team reach a record 175 million dollars in sales. Her extensive hospitality background, coupled with her advanced communication skills have been a driving force behind her continued growth within the real estate arena.
Today, Jane enjoys sharing her expertise as Client Relations and Contract Manager for the Busby Realty Group where she focuses her business insight on maintaining and expanding on client relationships. Her array of references demonstrate her skill for handling multifaceted projects, which include negotiating complex contracts, identifying opportunities to increase sales and building relationships with key clients. Kenya Saldierna, Concierge and Client Relations Manager
As someone who has relocated four times with her professional athlete husband, Kenya understands moving from every aspect--logistically, emotionally, and financially. As a result, Kenya is the empathetic, knowledgeable resource Busby Realty Group clients turn to for their real estate needs.
Honing her skills in sales, marketing and customer service for the past 10+ years, Kenya started her career in the luxury car industry as a lease portfolio manager. Kenya’s flexibility, attention to detail and drive quickly propelled her young career, and she began considering ways to expand her expertise. A logical next step for Kenya was realizing a personal goal of obtaining her real estate license and creating her own book of business. Kenya began supporting her discerning luxury car clients in high end real estate transactions throughout the Houston area, and her career took off.
Kenya’s “get it done attitude” was what first caught Julie’s eye when they first met several years ago. Since then, Kenya has warn literally every hat at Busby Realty Group from sales to marketing to relocation and concierge services. Kenya truly has a knack for calming the waters, and making transactions run as smoothly as possible--it is no coincidence that since Kenya joined the team three years ago that the business has doubled!
